Established by Pat Lucey who pioneered the TV business in Cork throughout the 1980’s, it was Pat’s commitment to finding solutions for his customers and that lead to the formation of SVC. Always aiming to provide the latest in innovation and the best in customer service, this is still very much the ethos of our business today.
We are proud to say that many of our customers have been with us for over 20 years. Others have moved away and come back to us again. We like to think we’re doing something right but we’re not complacent. The SVC Team
Trevor is with SVC since the company was started in 1994. Trevor combines project management with his primary responsibilities for the strategic development of the company. Trevor has led the business through a phase of significant growth in the last number of years by delivering projects on-time and on-budget. Trevor’s knowledge of the sector and technological expertise ensures each client is provided with the right solution for their healthcare facility.
Jennifer has worked with SVC for over 17 years and is responsible for marketing and business development. Jennifer’s role includes lead generation and management, developing client relationships and overseeing customer service. Jennifer is responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic marketing plan as part of the company’s programme for continued growth.
Shane joined SVC in 2005 and is responsible for the company’s day to day financial activities and keeping financial records. While Shane’s primary role is to maintain accounting controls he is also responsible for pricing and purchasing as well as liasing with customers on a daily basis.
Paddy has been a member of the team since the company started in 1994. Paddy has extensive experience in the installation and integration of Nurse Call and other communications systems. As well as new installations, Paddy is also responsible for the maintenance of existing systems in nursing homes, hospitals and community nursing units.
Connor has been part of the SVC team for over 7 years and has an extensive knowledge of communications technology. As with all our technicians, Connor has been factory-trained in all systems and his role includes servicing existing systems as well as new installations. Connor also provides telephone support to customers when a service visit may not be required.
John joined SVC in October 2019 and brings his extensive experience of alarm installation to the company. John mainly works on new installations, focusing in particular on the Touchsafe Pro Nurse Call System. John also works with existing clients by carrying out preventative maintenance inspections in nursing homes and care centres nationwide.
