We have a number of different types of Fall Impact Mats to protect residents from injury in the event that they fall out of bed. These mats are designed for use with an overall fall management programme.
Our Fall Impact Mats have been designed with a one-inch thick Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) foam for maximum fall impact absorption.
In addition, the low one-inch profile makes it easy for residents to step on and off the mat. The beveled edges will minimize potential to trip when walking up to and onto the mat.
The beveled edges of the mat are also designed to easily roll a wheelchair onto the mat to safely transfer a resident from the chair to the bed or vice versa.
Staff can also roll feeding or medical supply tables onto the mat for easy access to the resident. The mat will greatly assist in optimizing the potential to prevent serious injuries as a result of an accidental rolling out of bed.
Beveled Edge Floor Safety Mat
Bedside safety mats are designed to provide a cushioned landing pad and reduce the likelihood of injury. According to independent bio-mechanical testing these Bedside Safety Mats can significantly reduce the risk of injury to the head, chest and pelvis versus a fall on a hard floor surface.
Trifold Bedside Safety Floor Mat
Bedside safety mats are designed to provide a cushioned landing pad and reduce the likelihood of injury. This trifold mat can be folded and easily stored away when not in use.
FlatPad Waterproof Bevelled Edge Fall Safety Mat
This Fall Safety Mat greatly assists in optimizing the potential to prevent serious injuries as a result of an accidental rolling or falling out of bed. Non-slip top and bottom to prevent slipping. FlatBed technology, guaranteed to lie flat on floor.
Choose from two sizes: 24″ x 70″ x 1″ or 36″ x 70″ x 3/4″.
Waterproof Glow in the Dark Beveled Edge Safety Mat
Waterproof, antimicrobial cover to protect against all liquid spills (milk, juice, urine, etc.) Glow in the dark edges for night-time visibility. Slip resistant on both sides. Beveled edges prevent tripping.
