The FlatPad Bevelled Edge Fall Safety Mat helps prevent severe injury when a person accidentally rolls or falls out of bed in a hospital or nursing home.
This product provides exceptional cushioning against impacts as well as slippage thanks to its non-slip top and bottom surface and the FlatBed technology which guarantees that it lies completely flat on the floor.
As many as 20% of falls in hospitals and nursing facilities occur because of falling out of bed. Bedside safety mats are designed to provide a cushioned landing pad and reduce the likelihood of injury. According to independent biomechanical testing, this Bedside Safety Mat can significantly reduce the risk of injury to the head, chest and pelvis versus a fall on a hard floor surface.
